Andy Wedgner is Lyondellbasell’s Infrastructure Commercial Manager, based at Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where he’s responsible for the company’s polyethylene and polypropylene grades that are used in infrastructure pipe applications. He is a chartered civil and environmental engineer with over 30 years of experience in the polyolefin pipe, utilities and engineering consultancy industries. Prior to Joining Lyondellbasell in 2018 he held several senior positions in all three industries and worked in a large variety of countries including India, Pakistan, Oman, Albania, the UAE, Iraq and the UK.

Andy took up the post of President of the PE100+ Association on 1st June 2024, having previously been the European Vice President and the Communications Manager. Andy’s aim as president is to continue developing the association, ensuring that it promotes the use of PE100 pipe systems, whilst being a leading source of independent information and technical guidance for the PE pipe communi
